Isipani Construction is proud to have been a key player in the development of the Optenhorst Retail Centre, a project that is now complete and poised to enhance the local community. Construction for this exciting project began in July 2023 and was completed on schedule.

The Optenhorst Retail Centre was developed in two phases:

• Phase 1: This phase involved the construction of the boundary wall and a guardhouse for the adjacent housing estate, ensuring security and integration with the broader development.
• Phase 2: The final phase saw the construction of a state-of-the-art shopping centre, which is now complete and home to anchor tenants Dis-Chem and Checkers, along with a variety of other stores catering to the needs of the growing community.

The new retail centre has quickly become a cornerstone of the Optenhorst area. Not only does it provide a modern shopping experience, but it has also created numerous employment opportunities, both during construction and post-completion. With its thoughtful design and high-quality finishes, the centre has significantly enhanced the surrounding area, providing a vital service for local residents and visitors, a valuable community asset!

The project was completed in August 2024, with the shopping centre officially opening its doors in mid-September 2024.

Today, the Optenhorst Retail Centre is a vibrant and modern destination that seamlessly blends style with functionality. It is set to be a landmark shopping destination, redefining convenience and community in the area.
