Who We Are

The Isipani Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to making a positive impact in communities through construction and development initiatives. As the philanthropic arm of Isipani Construction (Pty) Ltd, we leverage our expertise and resources to create sustainable and meaningful change.

Dedicated to uplifting disadvantaged communities

Founded in 2014, the Isipani Foundation is at the heart of our social responsibility initiatives. Holding a 15% share in Isipani Construction, the Foundation is dedicated to uplifting disadvantaged communities, particularly in areas where we have active construction projects. Through the projects we undertake, we aim to create sustainable benefits to the community that extend far beyond the construction sites.

Transparency, accountability and effective governance are critical to the success of any foundation. At the Isipani Foundation, our board structure is designed to ensure the highest level of stewardship and strategic decision-making for the benefit of the communities we support.

As the Isipani Foundation is a registered non-profit organisation, any contribution is recognised as a Socio – Economic Development contribution in terms of the BBBEE codes of Good Practice.  The contribution will also be tax deductible in the hands of donors in terms of, and subject to the limitations prescribed in section 18A of the Income Tax Act of 1962.
