Corporate Social Responsibility
At Isipani Construction, we believe our success is deeply tied to the well-being of the communities in which we live, work, and play. With the Western Cape’s expanded unemployment rate standing at 25.6% (2024), we recognize our ongoing responsibility to support initiatives that create meaningful change.
We contribute to our communities through The Isipani Foundation and additional corporate social responsibility activities and by supporting volunteering undertaking by our staff. We are committed to making a meaningful contribution and focus our efforts in the areas of education, skills development, job creation, healthcare, and social upliftment.
Education as a Cornerstone of Change
As a family-oriented business, education is a core focus of our corporate social investment (CSI). We’ve supported numerous schools by building new facilities, donating computers, and providing essentials like stationery and shoes. In Tulbagh, we gifted school supplies to learners at Lingomso Primary on their first day in their new classrooms, while in Atlantis, we provided computers to Parkview Primary.
We also sponsor major school events, including Paarl’s inter-schools competitions, fostering a sense of pride and unity among learners.
Empowering Communities Through Training
Empowerment is central to our mission. We ensure every project includes opportunities for skills transfer through courses in bricklaying, carpentry, and safety training. By investing in people, we help foster independence and long-term community growth.
Sustained Impact Through Long-Term Relationships
At Isipani Construction, we understand that building a better future means more than constructing buildings—it’s about building resilient, thriving communities. Over the years, Isipani has built lasting partnerships with local organizations, schools, and charities. From raising funds for Huis Andrew Murray through our annual golf day to assisting museums and feeding schemes, we remain dedicated to hands-on community involvement.
We have partnered with the Mbekweni Crèche near Paarl, since 2005, contributing food parcels, hosting Christmas parties, and upgrading their playground. A collaboration with Cargo of Dreams transformed decommissioned containers into classrooms, with Isipani handling site preparation, building work, and utility connections. This project highlights our ability to combine resources with creative solutions to meet community needs.
