The NTT build involved the construction of a Volkswagen dealership and an Audi dealership between the Paarl Mall precinct and the N1 in southern Paarl. The Volkswagen dealership was constructed with a dedicated workshop and semi-basement parking, while the Audi dealership was built with its own workshop on the basement level. Installing the Volkswagen dealership’s glass facade required a great deal of precision work, but the most memorable challenge was to construct the Audi dealership’s curved walls on radius. The Audi dealership’s 1,000 m2 basement floor was done in polished concrete while the building exterior was cladded with a unique perforated aluminium cladding imported from Germany.
