Isipani Construction’s first contract at Bridge House School, a private school between Paarl and Franschhoek, was in 2013 to build a double-storey building for classrooms and a computer centre, a school hostel and a laboratory. In 2016 the company was back on site to build a new maths and science centre, a fourth hostel, a dining hall and a sick bay. Working in a school environment is always challenging because the school terrain remains busy with a constant flow of vehicles and people. Safety was also prioritised to safeguard the learners and teachers. For us as a construction company both projects were pleasant experiences due to the positive attitude of the school management committee and an exceptional professional team.
