Athlone House of Strength (AHOS), is a place of safety for abused women and their children in Paarl, in the Western Cape, that needed help in safeguarding the premises.

The foundation supported them with building a perimeter wall and guardhouse as well as installing electric fencing. This support provided the institution a safer environment for vulnerable women and children.

“Places of safety, like Athlone House of Strength, provide a critical service within our communities for women and their children,” said Isipani Foundation Chairperson, Ray-Ann Sedres. “The Isipani Foundation values their contribution and we are pleased that we were able to assist in ensuring the safety of the AHOS staff and the women and children in their care.”
